MDF is affordable, easy to cut, and paintable but not moisture-resistant unless specially treated. Unlike solid wood, it has no grain or knots, offering a uniform finish.

There are several types of MDF, each suited to specific needs:

Standard MDF: The most common type, ideal for furniture, cabinet doors, and decorative mouldings in dry indoor environments.

Moisture-Resistant (MR) MDF: Specially engineered to resist moisture, making it suitable for kitchens, bathrooms, and areas with higher humidity.

Fire-Retardant (FR) MDF: Treated to slow the spread of flames, FR MDF is used where fire safety is required, such as in public buildings and commercial interiors.

Tricoya MDF: A premium, next-generation MDF with enhanced durability and water resistance due to acetylation technology, making it ideal for demanding outdoor and wet-area projects.

We offer a range of thicknesses. Standard thicknesses are 9mm, 12mm, 15mm, 18mm, 22mm, 25mm, 30mm. Please note not all boards have these thicknesses as an option.
